Welcome to Marion Dierickx's homepage!

I am an Astrophysics PhD student at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics. Born and raised in France in a Belgian family, I currently live in Cambridge, MA. My research interests are focused on topics in galactic evolution, structure and the dynamical modeling of the Local Group. Since 2015 I have also become involved in research for the Breakthrough Starshot initiative, which aims to send nanocrafts to the Alpha Centauri stellar system.

My resume is available here.

In my spare time I enjoy horse riding, reading and being outdoors.
My passion for all sports horse-related has lead to a longtime involvement with the Harvard Polo Club. For more information about the team, visit the Harvard University Polo Club webpage.
